Oatmeal raisin cookies

Directions
1/2 stick butter (1/4 cup)1/2 c brown sugar splenda1/3 c skim milk1/2 c unsweetened applesauce1/4 c egg substitute1 t vanilla1 c whole wheat flour3 cups oats1/2 t salt1/2 t soda1/4 t cinnamon1/2 c raisins
Combine all ingredients up to vanilla. Add dry ingredients until well mixed. Drop by scoopfull on to cookie sheet Bake at 375 for 10-12 min. Makes 27 cookies

KARICHELLE
These cookies have a bizarre texture, and parts without raisins are bland. The batter is extremely dry, so you need to pat the cookies out on the cookie sheet or else you'll have oatmeal balls. On the plus side, we ended up with 45 cookies so the calorie count will be much lower. - 1/27/08
