Lentil & barley vegetable soup

Ingredients
14 cups water28 oz can crushed tomatoes1 c. barley2 c. lentils3 T. beef soup base1 onion, chopped3 cloves garlic, chopped3 carrots, chopped1-1/2 c. green beans, chopped2 c. celery, chopped3 c. kale, chopped2 c. mushrooms, chopped1 zucchini, chopped1 T. basil1 T. oregano
Directions
Add all ingredients to pot and cook for 1-2 hours. I like to add the lentils and barley to the water and then start chopping vegetables. I add the vegetables as I finish chopping them, starting with the ones that need more cooking time.
