crostata ai fichi - figs tart
- Number of Servings: 12
Ingredients
Directions
plain white flour 140grwhole wheat flour 40grwater 40mlpinch of saltegg yolk 1butter, room temperature 90grsugar 30gr figs, peeled 500grhoney 2 tbspwalnuts 7halves
add butter to flour and mix. dissolve salt into water, add to flour and butter. also add sugar and yolk and knead everything using only the tips of your fingers. cover and refrigerate for about 30 mins.
roughly mash figs using a fork, add honey and chopped walnuts.
roll out the base with a rolling pin, just enough for your tart mould (tin? I don't know the name). mine is 25cm in diameter.
line mould with parchment paper and put the base in. pierce base with a fork to avoid bubbles, cover with parchment and some beans.
oven180°C, about 30 mins.
add figs mixture and cook for 20 more mins, maybe. I didn't check.
Base was just too little and mixture too much for my mould! XD
Serving Size: makes about 12 slices
