*slice cucumbers and onions thin thin thin
*cover cucumbers and onions in icy icy salt water for at an hour (1tsp of salt in water for a large batch) rinse really well when the soaking time is up to get the salt off or they will be ruined by the salt left on them!
*equal amount of cucumbers and onions in recipe is important
After prep, soak and rinse, make a sauce for cucumbers and onions of equal parts Distilled White Vinegar and Splenda-Salt and pepper to taste. Probably won't need any salt because of soak, just pepper! I hate raw onions and usually pick them out of recipes, but can eat these onions and cucumbers by the bowl like soup. Enjoy they are awesome, but potent like sweet pickles from the vinegar and sugar. Pucker up.
