Cream Cheese Rum Fudge

2 3-oz packages light cream cheese, softened2 Tbsp milk4 cups powdered sugar1 tsp vanilla1 tsp rum flavoring (can also substitute orange, almond, or peppermint extract depending on preference)1 1/2 cups walnuts, chopped3 oz unsweetened chocolate (3 squares), melted and cooled
Combine softened cream cheese and milk in a mixing bowl. Gradually add powdered sugar, beating the mixture until smooth.
Stir in vanilla, rum flavoring, and 1 cup of nuts. Stir in melted chocolate.
Immediately turn fudge into a foil-lined and buttered 8x8x2-in. pan, pressing evenly into pan. Sprinkle with remaining nuts, pressing nuts in lightly. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour before cutting into squares. Store fudge in refrigerator.
