Ingredients
* White Rice, long grain, .25 cup * Lentils, .10 cup (Yellow Pigeon Peas also known as Toor dal- can be found at any Indian supermarket) * Garlic, .5 clove * Water, 1 Cup * Turmeric, .25 Tsp * Hot Chili Pepper, 1 * Ginger Root, .5 Tsp * Fenugreek Seeds, .5 Tsp * Salt (to taste)
Directions
Prep-

Wash Rice and Lentils.
Grate Ginger Root, and Chilis.
Cut Garlic.

Cook-
In a pressure cooker add all the ingredients. Cook for about 8 minutes.

Enjoy.

    You should have used uncooked/raw white rice in the calculation. That almost doubles the calories, which is still pretty good. - 1/19/11
