College Inn Chicken Broth - 99% Fat Free, 4 cup Water, tap, 1.75 cup (8 fl oz) Onions, raw, .25 cup, chopped Salt, .5 tsp Broccoli, fresh, 2 cup, chopped Chicken Breast, no skin, 1 unit (yield from 1 lb ready-to-cook Carrots, raw, 1 cup, strips or slices Tortellini, pasta with cheese filling, 0.75 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated, 4 tbsp
Microwave chicken on HIGH for 10 minutes or until juices run clear. While chicken is cooking, prepare vegetables by thinly slicing carrots, chopping onion, and breaking broccoli into very small florets. Chop cooked chicken. Add all the ingredients into a soup pot (except for tortellini and broccoli). Simmer, uncovered, for 25 minutes. Add broccoli and tortellini. Simmer uncovered for another 10 minutes until broccoli and tortellini are tender. Serve with sprinkling of Parmesan cheese.
