Apple Doughnut Holes

Ingredients
*Whole Wheat Flour, 0.5 cup (remove) *Flour, white, 2.75 cup (remove) Baking Soda, 0.5 tsp (remove) Baking Powder, 2 tsp (remove) Cinnamon, ground, 1.5 tsp (remove) Nutmeg, ground, 0.25 tsp (remove) Orange Juice, 1.25 cup (remove) Cinnamon, ground, 0.5 tsp (remove) Butter, salted, 3 tbsp (remove) Granulated Sugar, 0.25 cup (remove) *Splenda, 12 tsp (remove) Dannon All Natural, Plain Nonfat Yogurt, 6 oz., 3 oz (remove) Egg, fresh, 2 large (remove) Vanilla Extract, 0.25 tsp (remove) *Almond Extract, 0.25 tsp (remove) Enova Oil, 10 tbsp (remove)
Directions
Simmer orange juice, 0.5 tsp cinnamon, and 0.25 nutmeg over medium heat until reduced to 0.25 cup. Cool.
Mix flours, soda, and powder.
Beat butter and sugars in separate bowl, then beat in yogurt, eggs, and extract.
Add flour and chopped apples to wet mixture.
Refrigerate dough for about one hour.
Heat oil until 350 degrees.
Fry balls until brown, then cool on paper towels.
Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, frost with cream cheese, or glaze with a confectioner sugar mixture (optional).
