I have never rated a recipe on here, but this one deserves 5 stars. Both of my finicky kids and husband loved it! It is easy, inexpensive, and delicious. We used the extra liquid from the crockpot over pasta. It could easily be used over brown rice or other grains. Thanks! - 8/22/10

Made this yesterday. I was a little reserved about mixing the 2 soups but this was excellent. I marinated the cubed beef all night in the crock with onions, Worcestershire, salt, pepper, garlic powder, add the soups in the morning. Delicious! - 4/22/10

My whole family enjoyed this dish. I did not have a can of tomato soup so I used a small can of tomato sauce. I also added carrots to the crock pot which turned out great! - 12/18/09

This was wonderful. Did like others and added carrots and quartered mushrooms. Also we don't like onions so I added beef bouillon with 2 cups of water. Put over egg noodles and it was great! Definately a keeper!! - 2/14/11

My toughest critics loved it. I added carrots, mushrooms, bell peppers, & potatoes to it and shredded the beef and turned it into a stew. - 10/26/10

Just ok. Tasted like pot roast. It didn't have enough zip for me or my family. It was very easy though since it was cooked in the crock pot. - 6/27/09

Delicious! I didn't have tomato soup, so I used a small can of tomato sauce, and a small can of tomato paste. I added an onion, as well. I planned on serving over rice or noodles, but BF wanted StoveTop. It went very well! - 7/25/08

I didn't like this that much the first night, but found myself liking it more the next night. Dunno why. Husband and my son both enjoyed it. Can't beat how easy it is to put together! - 2/2/15

Had to rate this INCREDIBLE, because my husband kept saying that over and over and over. I used Venision London Broil. When i said, next time I am going to add this or that. I was quickly told "Don't change a thing, its incrediably just the way it is and you can make this anytime" - 2/14/14

This was delicious!! I was a bit skeptical mixing these soups. I followed the recipe exactly except I threw in some raw carrots. When I went to slice the roast it was so tender it fell apart, so I shredded it and put it back in the sauce. Served it over whole wheat pasta. - 7/29/13

I make the exact same recipe except without the tomato soup and I use 98 % fat free cream of mushroom soup and I add carrots, celery, diced onion and mushrooms for more flavor and serve it over rice. - 1/10/13

I skipped the onion soup packet and used fresh onion. I used 98% fat free soups in place of the regular soup and about 4 hours into cooking added fresh baby carrots and a few redskin potatoes, 2 hours later I added frozen peas and corn. This was amazing! Cheap, easy, and VERY hearty! - 7/7/11

This wasn't bad, but the condensed tomato soup gave the gravy a weird twang... I can definitely see how this would be delicious with canned diced tomatoes. I added onions, bell peppers, and carrots to make a stew. - 1/18/11
