1 T un- salted butter1 cup Steel Cut Oats1 Cup 2% milk 3 Cups Water3 T Maple Syrup1/2 tsp. Pumpkin Spice (or more to taste)
Heat butter in skillet on medium heat and when it is melted pour in the oats. Meanwhile heat 3 cups of water to boiling in separate pan. Once the oats have toasted a little pour boiling water on top and let simmer for 20 minutes. Add milk when 20 minutes is up and cook for another 10 minutes or until the oatmeal is creamy and has the consistency of Risotto. Add the maple syrup and Pumpkin spice and mix thoroughly. Serve warm... yum
