Delicous chicken lentil soup

2 cups of lentils1 large yellow onion8 cups of chicken broth or stock(if you are a vegan, you can substatute vegtable broth.)4 stalks of raw celery6 large carrots(I know it says otherwise above; I'm still figuring this site out.)6 Large idaho potatoes
Take out a large soup pot and set it on your stove. Put your lentils in and pour your chicken stock over it. Prepare vegetables by peeling and chopping as desired, and put in the other ingrediants as well. Of course, if you are going to put any meat in it, you'll cook it in another pan! Turn your stove on high and bring to a boil. After it comes to a boil, turn the heat to low and let simmer until vegetables are fork-tender, and there you are! A delicous 1 pot meal! Enjoy!
