Pumpkin Cake with Caramel Sauce (24 servings)

2 c. all-pupose flour2 c. sugar2 tsp. grd. cinnamon1 tsp.. baking soda1 tsp. ground nutmeg1/2 tsp. salt4 eggs1 can (15 oz) solid pack pumpkin1 c. canola oilSauce:1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar2 Tb flourdash salt1 1/4 c. water2 Tb. Butter1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Combine flour, sugar, speices, soda and salt. In another bowl, beat eggs, pumpkin and oil until smooth; add to dry ingred. Mix about 1 minute. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool.
For sauce, combine ingredients in a bowl and bring to boil. Boil 3 minutes at medium stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Serve warm with cake.
