Ingredients
Directions
1 c sorghum flour1 c potato or cornstarch1/2 c millet flour (or more sorghum)2 tsp xanthan gum1 1/4 tsp sea salt1 tsp dried minced onion1/2 tsp garlic powder2 tsp dried thyme2 tsp dried basil1 tbsp instant dry yeast1 1/4 c warm watera pinch of raw sugar4 tbsp evoo1 tbsp agave nectar (or honey)1/2 tsp mild wine vinegar or lemon juice1 egg
oil and dust with cornmeal- 9 " round cake pan
combine yeast, water and sugar- allow to proof
combine dry ingredients- whisk together
add all wet to dry ingredients
scoop into rounded loaf in pan (pizza stone also works really well)
allow to rise for about 20 min in warm oven
turn on oven (with loaf in it) to 375 degrees
when oven comes to temp set timer for 25 min or until crust is golden
cool on wire rack...or eat immediately!!!
*optional- top with sliced tomatoes, fresh garlic, dried herbs, or sea salt before baking
