Allison's Green Smoothie

2 cups apple juice (unsweetened)2 cups baby spinach1/2 cup carrots1/2-1 cup frozen blackberries (unsweetened)2 cups frozen mixed fruit (unsweetened)1 fresh banana
Add apple juice, spinach and carrots to blender. Blend until smooth. Add frozen fruit. Blend again. Add banana and blend until smooth. Taste and adjust ingredients as needed.
You can use any combination of fresh or frozen fruits and juice in this smoothie, but dark purple fruit such as blackberries will change the color of the smoothie to a more appetizing purple. You can also add other mild vegetables such as kale or collard greens.
Serving Size: Makes about 6 1-cup servings
