Low Fat Chunky Marinara

Ingredients
2 teaspoons minced garlic1 cup chopped mushrooms3/4 cup chopped green pepper1/2 cup chopped onion28 ounces crushed tomatoes2 tablespoons tomato paste2 teaspoons beef bouillon granules or 2 beef cubes1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning1/4 cup grated carrots1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
Directions
Coat a large skillet or a sauce pot with nonstick spray and preheat over medium heat. Saute the garlic, mushrooms, green pepper, and onion for about five minutes or until vegetables start to release their juices. Add all other ingredients and stir to mix. Heat up the sauce, reduce and simmer for about 20 minutes or until sauce is thick and flavors are well blended.

NOTE: This is a good recipe to put all ingredients in crock pot, set on low and forget about it for about 8 hours.
