Crock-pot Beef Shoulder English Roast

*Potato, raw, 3 medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.) (remove)Carrots, raw, 3 large (7-1/4" to 8-1/2" long) (remove)Onions, raw, 2 medium (2-1/2" dia) (remove)*Flour, white, .14 cup (remove)Mushrooms, fresh, 2 cup, pieces or slices (remove)Salt, 1 tsp (remove)*Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 1 tbsp (remove)*Beef, Chuck Roast Boneless Shoulder, 40 oz (remove)
Brown the roast in a skillet with oil on both sides. Combine the flour, salt, and pepper and coat the roast with mixture. Put onions, potatoes, carrots in bottom of slow cooker and rest the roast on top. Place mushrooms evenly on top of the roast. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
