Tommy Hickey-Spanish Rice

Ingredients
5 cups of water3 cups of rice(white, long grain)1 small can of tomato sauce 1 achiote spice packet1/2 cup of vegetable oil10 Spanish olives1/2 Onion(diced)2 pork chops (diced)1 can of gandules2 tsp of salt2 tsp of garlic salt1 tsp of black pepper
Directions
1. put the water in the pot with oil and tomato sauce
2. add spices
3. bring to boil
4. add all other ingredients
5. let it boil until rice soaks up the water and most of the moisture is gone(this should be about 15 min. into the cooking process)
6. put the burner on low for 15 or 20 more min.
7. enjoy
