Russell's Amazing Moose Chili

2 pounds ground moose meat or beef1 onion chopped (1cup)2 (14.5oz) can stewed tomatoes2 (15oz) can tomato sauce2 (15oz) can kidney beans1 1/2 cups water1/2 cup brown sugar1 pinch chili powder or to taste1 pinch garlic powder
brown meat-drain, then add onions until soft
mix tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes, kidney beans, brown sugar in with drained meat and onions and water if needed.
Add chili powder and garlic powder. bring to a boil and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes. Serve.
Serving Size: makes about 14-16- 1 cup portions
