Cajun Black Eyed Peas and Rice

Ingredients
1 16 oz. package Pictsweet Frozen Black Eyed Peas1/2 C chopped onions2 C uncooked brown rice1 tsp light butter1 tsp salt4 1/2 C water1 tsp paprika1 12/ tsp cajun seasoning1 tsp minced garlic
Directions
Place frozen peas and onions in saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil for 3 minutes. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 40 minutes. Drain. In saucepan, combine remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Add cooked peas. Mix well and serve.
