1 cup butter ( 2 cubes) 1 cup sugar1 cup Brown sugar 2 eggs1 tsp vanilla 1 tsp baking soda 1 ¼ cup whole wheat flour 1 tsp salt2 ¾ cup oats ( 6 grain cereal) 1 cup chopped pecans1 pkg chocolate chipscream together the butter, sugar and eggs then add dry ingredients and mix well. Add oats,nuts and chips. Use a medium sized cookie scoop (like ice cream scoop)and press against side of bowl to fill. Cook on a greased cookie sheet, or parchment lined, at 350 degrees for about 14 min. Do not overcook. If they have lost their gloss, they are probably done.
