Cranberry Fruit Conserve

Ingredients

1 (12 ounce) bag of fresh cranberries, cleaned1 cup of sugar1 Granny Smith apple, peeled, cored and chopped1 orange zest grated and juiced1 lemon, zest grated and juiced3/4 cup raisins1 8 ounce can crushed pineapple
Cook the cranberries, sugar and 1 cup of water in a sauce pan over low heat for about 5 minutes, or until the skins pop open.
Add the apple, zests, and juices and ook for 15 minutes more.
Remove from the heat and add the raisins (and 3/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans if desired)
Let cool, and serve chilled.
Serving Size: Makes 4 cups
