Spicy Fiesta Bean soup

2 cans black beans drained and rinsed1 can garbanzo beans drained and rinsed1 box plus 1 can low fat chicken broth1 can diced tomatoes6 mini sweet peppers assorted colors chopped3 green onions chopped1 cup yellow onion chopped3 cloves garlic chopped4 oz brown rice penne pasta 1 tbls chili powder1 tbls cumin1/2 tbls paprika1/8 tsp cayenne powdersalt and pepper to taste1 tbls olive oil
Serving Size: 6 1.5 cup servings
Saute onions, green onion, peppers, and garlic in olive oil until tender. Add Chili powder, cumin, cayenne and paprika. Saute a minute longer. Add chicken broth, black beans, garbanzo beans,and tomatoes. Salt and pepper to taste. Bring to boil. Add pasta and cook until pasta is tender. You may need to add up to 1/2 cup more water once the pasta starts cooking.
Serve and enjoy!
