Renee's fish chowder

Ingredients
1/2 lb. sliced bacon, diced2 med. onion, chopped6 c. diced peeled potatoes4 c. water 2 lb. shrimp2 lb. halibut2 lb. crab1/2 c. butter, melted4 t. salt4 t. minced fresh parsley1/2 t. curry powder2 qts. milk (2%)1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milkflour to thicken if needed
Directions
In large soup pot, cook bacon over med. heat until crisp. Remove with a slotted spoon to paper towels, reserve drippings. Saute onions in drippings until tender. Add potatoes and water. bring to a boil. cook for 10 min.
Add fish. Cook for 10 min. or until shrimp is pink and fish flakes easily. Add butter, salt, parsley and curry powder. Stir in milk and evap. milk, heat through. Garnish with bacon.
