Lemon & Basil Green Beans

1 lb green beans2 tsp EVOO (or butter; not caluclated for butter)3 large thinly sliced shallots1/2 tsp Splenda (or sugar; not calculated for sugar)1/2 tsp salt1/4 tsp white pepper2 tsp grated lemon zest1/4 cup thinly sliced basil leaves (chiffonade)lemon wedges, for garnish
1) Bring 1/2 in of water to boil in 10" in covered non-stick skillet. Add green beans; simmer, convered, over medium-low heat until tender/crips, @8 minutes. Drain in colander.
2) Heat oil in skillet over medium heat. Add shallots & sugar; cook until softened & golden, about 2 min. Add salt, pepper, and green beans. Cook, stirring until heated through, about 2 min.
3) remove skillet from heat; stir in lemon-zest and basil. Spoon onto serving plate. Garnish with lemon wedges, if desired & serve immediatel.
