Mrs. Six's Split Pea and Ham Soup

Ingredients

1/2 lb of smoked ham diced3 cups dried green split peas1 medium spanish onion diced2 medium carrots sliced 1/4" thick.25 minced/ chopped garlic from jar2 Knorr chicken bouillon cubes1 Knorr beef bouillon cube8 cups of water
Cook onions, carrots, celery and garlic in oil in pot until onions are soft.
Add remaining ingredients.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until peas are soft and smooth, stirring occasionally.
I stir extra Fiber Sure into my own serving for added fiber.
Makes 7- 2 cup servings.
