1 lb ground beef (or turkey) 1 onion, chopped 1 green pepper, chopped 1 (16 ounce) can red kidney beans, undrained 1 (16 ounce) can black beans 1 (16 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste 2 tablespoons chili powder 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon oregano 1 teaspoon cumin 1/2 teaspoon paprika 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup water
Saute ground beef, green pepper, and onion until lightly browned and onion and pepper are soft.
Put the sauteed beef and all other ingredients in the crockpot and stir well.
Leave in crockpot on low for at least four hours (or up to ten).
Serving Size: Makes about 10 1-cup servings
