Slow Cooker Pepper Chicken

2 pounds chicken breasts, cut into thin stripsgarlic powder to taste1 cube beef bouillon1/4 cup hot water3 tablespoons cornstarch1/2 cup chopped onion3-4 large bell peppers (red, yellow, orange or green), sliced.1 (14.5 ounce) can stewed tomatoes, with liquid3 cloves garlic, pressed3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce1 teaspoon white sugar
Sprinkle strips of chicken with garlic powder to taste. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the seasoned chicken strips. Transfer to a slow cooker.
Mix bouillon cube with hot water until dissolved, add corn starch. Pour into the slow cooker with meat. Stir in onion, green peppers, stewed tomatoes, garlic, soy sauce, sugar, and salt.
Cover, and cook on High for 3 to 4 hours, or on Low for 6 to 8 hours.
Serving Size: Makes 8 1 cup servings
