Easy Coconut Cream Pie

Ingredients
2 cups milk1 cup sugar1/3 cup corn starchdash salt3 egg yolks (save whites for the meringue)2 tblsp. margarineDrop of vanilla1/2 cup coconut
Directions
Put milk in a large glass bowl.
Microwave for 3 minutes.
Mix sugar, corn starch, and salt.
Add to warm milk.
Whisk.
Microwave for 1 minute.
Whisk.
Microwave for 1 minute.
Whisk.
Repeat process until nicely thickened.
Slowly add small portions of hot mixture to egg yolks. Gradually add yolks to the bowl of hot mixture.
Microwave for 1 minute.
Add margarine, vanilla and coconut.
Stir until blended.
Pour into prepared pie crust.
(Use "Best Pie Crust", half the recipe, baked for 12 minutes.)
Add "Grandma Skold's Meringue" on top.
