Pasta with Asparagus & Cheese

Ingredients
1 bunch of asparagus with the ends removed (approximately 1lb to start)4 ounces smoked gouda cubed8 ounces uncooked Barilla Picollini2 garlic cloves sliced.
Directions
Start a pot of water boiling
Cut aspargus in 1 inch pieces
Par boil for three minutes and place in an ice bath
Cook pasta. (reserve 1 cup of pasta water for sauce)
spray pan with Pam then toss in garlic and asparagus. after 1 minute add pasta water and cheese. REady to go
