Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients
* *Flour, white, 4 cup * Baking Powder, 4 tsp * Salt, .5 tsp * Margarine, hard, 2/3 cup * Milk, nonfat, 1.5 cup * Granulated Sugar, .5 cup * Cinnamon, ground, 1 tsp * Powdered Sugar, 1 cup, unsifted * Vanilla Extract, .25 tsp Milk
Directions
Combine flour, baking powder, salt. Cut in magarine. Mix in milk. Kneed dough. Cut in half. Roll each section into 12x10" In separate bowl mix together sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle half sugar mixture onto each rolled out dough. Roll up from long side and cut into 12 rolls each. Put on pan and bake at 425 for 25 minutes. Make frosting by combining powdered sugar and vanilla, adding a teaspoon of milk at a time until desired consistency. Pour over rolls while still warm and ENJOY!

    these were okay not as sweet as store bought ones so I think I'll be tweaking them the next time. I made cream cheese frosting to go on top and thank goodness cause they would have been pretty tasteless! - 9/17/11

    Very nice treat. It actually does make 24 rolls, each about 2" diameter. These are not the same as yeast rolls, but they are very good and make up pretty quickly - 2/23/08
