Sandi's Chili

Ingredients
ground beef-I use the 90% leanblack soy beans-drained and rinseddiced tomatoes do not draintomato sauceonion-dicedcarrot-gratedparsleycuminchili powderoreganopaprikagarlicsalt to taste1/2 cup water
Directions
chop onion, grate carrot, dice garlic
put in pot with ground beef, cook on medium till beef is browned, drain if desired (I don't)
add other ingredients
stir and cook for 10 minutes, taste
adjust salt, cumin, and chili powder (in small doses)
stir and cook in 10 minute intervals, tasting and adjusting till you get your desired level of heat
let simmer a final 10 minutes and then remove from heat and let sit for 10 minutes
