Lasagna with zucchini and meat sauce

.5 lb lean ground beef1 carrot, diced.25 onion, diced1 cup crushed tomatoes1 cup prego marinara2 zucchini, sliced lengthwise6 whole wheat lasagna noodles, boiled2 cups grated mozzarella cheese4 tbsp parmesan cheese1 tbsp Italian seasoning1 tsp garlic salt
Saute veggies in 1 tbsp. olive oil until somewhat soft. Add ground beef and brown. Add a little wine, and reduce. Add tomatoes, spices and sauce and bring to a simmer. Simmer covered for 20 mins., stirring frequently. Meanwhile, boil the lasagna noodles. Spray square baking pan with EVOO spray. After sauce is done, layer noodles, sauce, zucchini, and cheeses in pan (2 layers). Bake at 375 for 30 mins. (until zucchini is soft).
