Pasta Fagioli

Ingredients
1lb macaroni28oz can tomato puree1/2 onionpepperparsleysalt or garlic salt1/4 cup olive oilparmesan to garnish
Directions
Sautee onions in oil until soft (not brown). Add tomato puree, beans, seasonings to onions and simmer 15 minutes. Meanwhile cook pasta. Use as much water as necessary to cook pasta and don't throw it out! Add puree mixture to pasta. Serve with Parmesan sprinkled on top.
Makes 8 1 cup servings.
