  • Number of Servings: 2
Ingredients
1 handful of fresh baby spinach Frozen strawberries & raspberries. (about half a cup each, perhaps)Splash of Almond milk (other non-dairy milk could be used if you prefer dairy-free, which I do. I suppose one could use skim milk if that is to your liking).1 apple (I used gala). You will also need a blender or other instrument for mixing the smoothie.
Directions
1. Assemble listed ingredients.
2. Decide on desired amount. You can experiment with the amounts of each of the ingredients to your taste preferences, of course.
3. Start by adding spinach to the blender along with the almond (or other milk-like substance).
4. Blend spinach and milk on a liquefy setting.
5. Add one smaller berries (like raspberries or if you're using blueberries or other types) first.
6. Blend mixture again on liquefy until smooth.
7. Add larger berries like strawberries.
8. Blend until smooth.
9. If the larger berries need to be broken up first, it might be good to use the "pulse" setting if you have that.
10. Chop apple while blending the rest and add, then once again liquefy.
11. Once mixture has reached desired consistently (like it creamy and liquid), then you are done and you may pour it into glasses as a breakfast or another type of light meal or whatever you prefer!

Enjoy!
