Ingredients
Garlic minced, 1/2 cup (More or less to taste)Canned Diced Tomatoes, 105 oz canCanned Crushed Tomatoes 105 oz canOnions, raw, 2 cup, chopped Celery, raw, 2 cup, diced Fresh Basil leaves chopped, 6 tbsp (2-3 oz packs)Oregano, ground, 4 tbsp Salt, 2 tbsp Pepper, black, 6 tbsp Green Bell Pepper, 2 cups, chopped Mushrooms, fresh, 3 cup, pieces or slices Olive Oil, 1/4 cup
Directions
In a large sauce pan add enough olive oil to saute onions, peppers, celery, and mushrooms. In a 10 qt or larger sauce pan add the tomatoes and cook on low heat add basil, oregano, salt, peppers and sauted vegetables. Cook uncovered for at least an hour or to achieve the thickness desired for spaghetti or pizzas.
