Heart Healthy Vegetable Beef Soup

1 regular can of no salt added sweet peas1 regular can of no salt added green beans1 28 oz can of crushed tomato6 ounces of sliced raw baby carrots6 ounces of fresh frozen cut white corn16 ounces of grass fed tri-tip roast6 cups of beef broth (ideally from the roast you just cooked)6 ounces of fresh frozen baby lima beans
Cook your grass fed (preferably) roast ahead of time and save the broth. Once it cools, separate the lean from the fat. Keep the lean and feed the fat to the dog. Add all of the ingredients into the crockpot draining canned vegetables prior to placing in cooker. Cook all day for best flavor. I added black pepper, fresh garlic and an onion to the roast and broth which was a great move. Simple, tasty and HEALTHY!!!
