Stuffed Peppers

3 Bell peppers any color you want12 oz package of 93% lean ground turkey (italian seasoned)1 small can of tomato sauce no salt added
brown turkey in pan
cut tops off peppers and hollow and wash out removing all seeds
stuff peppers with cooked ground turkey untill full do not pack down( you will usually have some ground turkey left over)
Place peppers upright in a slow cooker and pour tomato suace over top of peppers
cook on low for 6 hours (usually done in 4-5)
* double recipe for six servings ( I make 3 peppers my healthy way then 3 with ground turkey or sausage mixed with rice for hubby and kids)
Serving Size: makes 3 whole peppers 1 pepper per serving
