Three Bean and Flax Bars with Marmalade Glaze

Ingredients
1/4 cup ground flax seed1/2 cup hot water1/3 cup vegan margarine (I used Becel)1/3 cup SucaNat (or sugar)1/3 cup dark brown sugar1/2 tsp stevia extract1 cup 3 Legume Butter (see my recipe)1 tbsp vanilla1 cup whole wheat flour1/2 tsp sea salt1/4 tsp nutmeg1/2 tsp baking powder1/4 tsp baking soda1/4 cup Citrus & Sweet Wine Marmalade (see my recipe)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350F, line a 9" square pan with parchment or foil.
In a small bowl, whisk together flax and hot water. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream margarine, SucaNat, brown sugar, stevia, 3 Legume Butter and vanilla.
Add soaked flax and beat well.
Stir in flour, salt, nutmeg, baking powder and baking soda.
Spread evenly in the pan and spread with the marmalade.
Bake for 35 minutes.
Cool completely in the pan before cutting.

Serving Size: Makes one 9" square pan
