Italian Casserole

Ingredients
2 cups Sargento reduced fat sharp cheddar cheese10oz 80/20 ground beef1 box (12 oz) Ronzoni Smart Taste elbow noddles1 Tbsp butter1 large can crushed tomatoes1 8oz can tomato saucelarge green pepper, choppedmedium onion, chopped 1 Tbsp oreganosalt and pepper to taste
Directions
Boil elbow noddles 1 minute short of package directions. Sautee chopped green pepper and chopped onion in the butter until soft. Add crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, 1 Tbsp oregano, and salt and pepper to taste and cook covered on low for about 10 minutes. In another pan cook and then drain the ground beef. Add the beef to the sauce mixture and cook an additional 2-3 minutes. Mix sauce mixture, cooked elbows and 1/2 the cheddar cheese in a 9X12 casserole dish. Top with other 1/2 of the cheddar cheese. Bake at 375 for about 30 minutes or until top is bubbly and beginning to brown. Let cool a few minutes before serving
