Directions
Brown the ground beef and drain excess grease. Dice up the onion and add to the beef to cook while you prep the other ingredients. Open the cans of beans, rinse and drain. Add the liquids to the beef, coffee, syrup, and chicken stock. Add the can of diced tomatoes, liquid and all. Add in the drained beans and tomato sauce, stir it all together. Season it as you prefer, I added 1/2 cup brown sugar, about 3 tbsp garlic powder, 1/4 cup chili powder, 3 tbsp cumin, a handful of thai red curry seasonings and a sprinkle of black pepper. If you like your chili hot, add Tabasco sauce or diced hot red chilies. Either simmer on the stove for 1-2 hours or in a Crock Pot on high 2-3 hours.
