1/2 cup Margarine, softened1 cup Granulated sugar1/2 cup Molasses3 cups Flour1 Tbsp Ground ginger1 1/2 tsp Baking soda1/2 cup + 1 Tbsp WaterGranulated sugar for top of cookies
Cream margarine, sugar, and molasses. Sift together flour, ginger, and baking soda. Add dry ingredients alternately with water. Drop cookies onto cookie sheet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Slightly flatten tops of cookies with the bottom of a glass dipped in granulated sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
