Ingredients
Directions
2 C Flour1 teaspoon Salt1 Tablespoon Baking Powder1 teaspoon Baking Soda1 Tablespoon Sugar1/3 C Butter2/3 C Lowfat Buttermilk
Preheat oven to 400
Sift together Flour, Salt, Baking Powder, Baking Soda and Sugar. Cut in the Butter with a pastry cutter until it turns to a coarse texture. Add the Buttermilk and form into a ball. If it's too wet, add flour, if it's too dry, add more buttermilk or water.
Roll out to 1/2 inch thickness and cut with a biscuit cutter or glass. Place on greased cookie sheet, (I use pam instead of grease to cut calories). Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes.
Makes 20 Biscuits, Each Biscuit one serving.
