chocolate quinoa granola

1 cup whole rolled oats1 cup uncooked quinoa1 cup sunflower seeds2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder½ teaspoon salt¼ cup maple syrup2 egg whites (to make vegan use 2 tbsp chia seeds with 1/8 cup water)⅛ cup vegan butter, melted (Earth Balance)1 teaspoon vanilla½ cup chocolate chips (set aside ‘til the granola has cooked and cooled) [Enjoy Life makes dairy, soy, nut, & gluten-free chocolate chips]
Mix dry and wet ingredients separately, then combine (leaving out the chocolate chips). Spread onto a sprayed baking sheet and bake for 75 minutes at 225 degrees. Wait 'til it cools to break apart clusters and add chocolate chips.
