Ingredients
1 peck (.25 bushel) tomatoes, peeled and chopped.5 cup white sugar1.5 cups salt.5 cup vegetable oil3 cloves garlic, minced2.5 cups yellow onions, chopped2.5 cups green bell peppers, chopped1 tsp red pepper flakes
Directions
cook tomatoes and push through sieve. Cook juice in large kettle until no water shows when stirring then add sugar, salt, oil, garlic and red pepper. Boil about 1 hour then put in jars and cold pack 10 minutes or longer.

yield:-- about 8 pints; 32 servings to 1 pint
