Macadamia Nut Pesto Fettuccine

Ingredients
1 (9 oz) pkg fresh fettuccine (I used 3 oz of whole wheat linguine)3 cups of fresh organic basil leaves0.25 cup half-and-half3 tbsp roasted macadamia nuts3 tbsp grated fresh parmesan cheese 2 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice0.75 tsp salt0.5 tsp black pepper (freshly ground is best)3 cups raw broccoli (steamed)0.5 cup frozen peas (steamed)
Directions
Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting salt and fat.
While pasta cooks, place basil and remaining ingredients in a food processor; process until smooth. Combine basil mixture and pasta in a large bowl, tossing to coat.

Toss in steamed broccoli and peas to add some veggies!
