Spicy Bean Bugers

1- Medium Onion, chopped4 - Garlic Cloves, minced or pressed2T - Olive OilI - Small Carrot, peeled & greated1 1/2t. - Chili Powder1 t. - Ground Cumin2 15oz cans - Beans (Pinto, Black, or Kidney)2T. - Mustard2T. - Ketchup1 1/2C. Rolled OatsSalt & Pepper to taste
Saute onion and garlic until onions are soft. Add carrots, chili powder and cumin. Cook 5min. on low heat. Set aside.
Mash the beans in a large bowl with potatoe masher. Add mustard, soy sauce, ketchup, and the sauteed vegetables. Mix in the oats. Add salt and pepper.
Moisten your hands and form the mix into 6 patties. Cook patties on medium-low to medium heat for 5-8 min. on each side.
