This reciipe is great when you don't have a lot of time for prep but time to let it cook. Would work well in a crock pot.I cut the top loin into four pieces, Dust them with flour and pan sear just enough to brown on both sides. Pan is then deglazed with red wine and all the scrappings from the meat that were left on the pan scratched off into the wine that is deglazing. Add can of tomato sauce and some Italian herbs. Let simmer for 5 minutes to reduce. Beef is now in a cassorle type dish, add mixture from sauce pan and stick in oven. If it looks like it is drying out add another can of tomato sauce.Braise for about 2-3hours at 350 or until meat is fork tender.
