Oreo Cookie Brownies

1/2 stick unsalted butter, room temp1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips (can sub with any type of chocolate, but be sure to account for calorie difference)1/2 cup sugar3/4 cup whole wheat flour1/4 tsp salt2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder1/3 cup egg white substitute, or 2 large eggs1 tsp vanilla extract5 Oreo cookies, crushed
In a small bowl, melt the chocolate chips and butter. Remove from heat and add sugar and vanilla, stir until sugar is disolved. Set aside.
In another small bowl sift flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
Place Oreos in ziplock bag, seal tightly, and crush (I've found a rolling pin works really well for this).
In a large bowl combine butter mixture and flour mixture. Fold in crushed Oreos. Place batter in a greased 9-inch pan and bake 25-30 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out mostly clean.
Serving Size: Makes 12 2-inch pieces
