Steel Cut Oats with Apples

Ingredients
2 cups Steel Rolled Oats5 Medium Apples peeled and cored1/3 cup Maple Syrup2 Tbsp Cinnamon1/2 cup raisins or prunes (optional) not included in nutrition values.
Directions
Mix together and place in the bottom of slow cooker.

Mix in bowl 2 cups water and 2 cups milk (or 4 cups water and no milk)

Add 2 cups of steel cut oats, stir and pour on top of the apples.

Cook in slow cooker on low for about 3 to 3.5 hours or until the apples are soft.

Serving Size: Makes 6 1-cup servings
