Ingredients
5 Lemons5 Limes3/4 C. Splenda, or to Taste1 (750 milliliter) Bottle Tequila4 C. Ice Cubes, or as Needed
Directions
1. Wash the lemons & limes, & cut the fruit into quarters. Squeeze juice from the fruit quarters into a 1-gal. glass ice tea jar, & place the squeezed fruit quarters into the jar. Fill the jar with ice cubes, & pour in the splenda & tequila. Top off the jar with more ice cubes if some have melted from the tequila. Seal the jar, & wrap the jar with a wet (but not sopping wet) hand towel.
2. Gather 8 or so people in a circle, & pass the jar from one to the next, each person shaking the jar for 3-5 mins. The drink is ready when the sugar has dissolved & the hand towel freezes and sticks to the jar. Dispense into ice-filled glasses & serve.
